Our Facility Management

Introduction

Being a primary component of Railway Operations and Services, Facility Management encompasses installed facilities at stations that serve as critical infrastructure and are operated, monitored, and maintained in good working condition at all times to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers and the general public.

The services are delivered through multidisciplinary service traits to ensure the functionality of the built environment by integrating people, business processes, technology applications, space, location and accessibility, as well as materials.

To continue providing the highest service levels and performance, strategic plans are developed as improvement initiatives through proactive measures such as routine inspections, building assessments and audits, scheduled periodic services and maintenance works, and the implementation and administration of Facility Management contracts.

Information gathered from these activities is then translated into facility upgrades, modernization, and major system and infrastructure replacement.

Primary services within Facility Management infrastructure and installed facilities include mechanical, electrical, civil and structural installations, housekeeping services, grounds and landscape maintenance, pest control, and security.

Priming on maximizing asset net value and ensuring the highest level of service performance also involves the continuous and consistent implementation of smart, green, connected, energy-efficient, and sustainable concepts, deploying the latest IoT (Internet of Things) approaches, measures, and initiatives in line with global and government trends in ESG, SDG, national sustainability policies, and energy-efficient initiatives and measures.
