Chief Information Officer

Introduction

A vital role in supporting the Chief Executive Officer in implementing and overseeing all tasks related to ICT security within the organization. This includes formulating, evaluating, and maintaining RAC’s ICT security policies to ensure that all systems and data are protected in accordance with national regulations and internal governance standards. The officer is also responsible for determining security requirements that align with the Corporation’s operational needs while minimizing cybersecurity risks.

In addition, the officer leads efforts to strengthen awareness and competency in ICT security by organizing structured training programs and awareness initiatives such as DKICT RAC, risk management sessions, and security audits. The position carries the responsibility of ensuring RAC’s digital infrastructure remains secure, resilient, and compliant with best practices, ultimately safeguarding the Corporation’s mission and digital assets against evolving cyber threats.

The roles and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Assisting the Chief Executive Officer in performing tasks involving ICT security;
  • Determining ICT security requirements;
  • Organise and manage the training plan as well as security awareness programs such as the provision of DKICT RAC, risk management and auditing;
  • Responsible for matters related to RAC ICT security.
