PROPOSED UPGRADE OF CLOSED-CIRCUIT TELEVISION (CCTV) INFRASTRUCTURE USING LATEST TECHNOLOGY ACROSS RAILWAY NETWORK OWNED BY RAILWAY ASSETS CORPORATION, WITH COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE (5) YEARS

We are currently implementing a comprehensive upgrade of the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) infrastructure across the railway network owned by Railway Assets Corporation. This initiative focuses on modernising surveillance systems by integrating the latest technologies to enhance security, monitoring capabilities, and overall operational efficiency.

A key feature of the project is the deployment of AI-enabled CCTV systems capable of detecting and monitoring trespassing activities, including wildlife intrusion and unauthorised human access, as well as identifying potential cable theft incidents. Through advanced video analytics, the system delivers real-time alerts, improved situational awareness, and faster response to security threats.

The project scope covers site assessment, system design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning, along with comprehensive maintenance services over a five-year period. Emphasis is placed on strategic camera placement to minimise blind spots and ensure high system reliability across critical railway assets and corridors.

The upgraded system is also designed with scalability and future integration in mind, enabling seamless connectivity with other security components such as access control systems, alarm systems, and centralised command centres.

This initiative reflects our commitment to delivering advanced, technology-driven security solutions that safeguard railway infrastructure, enhance public safety, and support long-term operational resilience.
